Aloha! I survived! haha

Aloha family and friends!
This week... was amazing. Last weekend we had that big storm, and thank you for all your prayers! They must have been so strong that they drove the hurricane away! Hahaha. There was not any damage, just lots of rain! I have never seen so much water fall out of the sky! It was awesome!
This last week at the Visitors' Center was great. Every day we meet wonderful people, and I have the chance to bear my testimony of the Temple, and the atonement of Jesus Christ. What could be better? Today for P-day we actually got to go to the temple finally. We get to go every other month, but it has felt like an eternity. When I entered the temple doors, a wave of emotion overcame me and I felt like I was home. I am so grateful to be serving on Temple grounds every day! Guests often mention how peaceful they feel when they come. I know that that is the Spirit of the Lord, residing in their soft hearts and beckoning them to come unto Him. And many do.
Our ward is also so great! We spent this last week just trying to get to know as many members as we can. I love love love the Polynesian people. They have a special spirit in their home that I cannot explain! And they sacrifice so much for their families and the missionaries. I am so blessed to be serving here.
I don't have much time left today, but I just want everyone to know how much I love them. I am so grateful for all the people that have supported and prayed for me so far as I have served here. Adjusting to missionary work is hard, but I have finally found that as I place ALL of my trust in the Lord and do everything I can to serve Him, I would not want to be doing anything else. I want to serve Him for the rest of my life. "Pure Christlike love, flowing from true righteousness, can change the world." The fastest answers we will ever receive to prayer are for an increased amount of love. I keep seeing this every day. Heavenly Father loves us. He is waiting to bless us. Sometimes we just have to ask. Ask!
Love Sister Willardson
